Daniel Lergon

In his paintings, Daniel Lergon explores the complexity and expressiveness of individual color pigments. Through his dynamic application of paint, the multifaceted richness of the color tones becomes particularly impressive. The painterly gesture also plays a central role in the limited edition book Fire Untouched by Smoke. Conceived as a leporello, the work contains 11 lacquer-printed drawings by the artist as well as 20 texts by the poet Gregory Carlock.
